1. At a glance

This website is an information page about the game Leakfall. There is no sign-up, no form, no cookies, no browser storage, no analytics or tracking tools and no third-party embeds (fonts, scripts, images and styles are loaded from this server only). Personal data is processed only as a technical side effect of serving the website (server logs, section 4).

3. Hosting

This website runs on a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is reliable provision of the website. Hetzner's privacy policy: hetzner.com/legal/privacy-policy.

4. Server log files

When you visit this website, the web server automatically stores: time of the request, requested address, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version and operating system (user agent), and a truncated IP address.

IP truncation: IP addresses are truncated before being written to the log (IPv4 to /24, IPv6 to /48). The full IP address is never stored. Cookie, authorization and accept-language headers are not logged.

Purpose and legal basis: operation, security and error analysis of the website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is not combined with other sources and not used for advertising.

Retention: log files are deleted automatically after 14 days at the latest. Data needed to investigate a specific security incident is kept until the incident has been resolved.

5. Encryption

The website is served over HTTPS (TLS) only.

6. Contact by e-mail or WhatsApp

If you contact me, I process your details to handle the request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, at the latest after 12 months unless statutory retention obligations apply. If you use WhatsApp, the privacy policy of WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. also applies.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.

Right to object: you may object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. No automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place.
